- Born and brought up in Chhappar, a small town in Rajasthan, I completed schooling in Chhapar and graduation & post-graduation in Sujangarh, Churu district (Rajasthan). Being of strong academic tilt, I followed this with such degrees as, in chronological order, M.A., NET and Ph.D. I was a Research Fellow of Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (2009-2011). Presently, I am working as Assistant Professor in SPM college, University of Delhi. I am also Fellow of South Asian Democratic Forum, and member of the Governing body of Rajasthan Hindi Granth Academy. I have authored a book on Bhagat Singh. My political journey, in chronological order is as follows: 1995-1996: President, College Union, Sujangarh College 1996-2000: Vice President, Churu District, NSUI 2000-2001: State Council, NSUI, Rajasthan 2001-2003: National Council, NSUI Jul, 2003 - Aug, 2005: National Vice President, NSUI. Aug, 2005 - Aug, 2010: National General Secretary, Indian Youth Congress 2006- 30th Jun 2015: Member, CBFC. Sep, 2010 - 2018: Elected Delegate, PCC, Rajasthan. Oct, 2011- 2019: Secretory PCC, Rajasthan. Feb, 2018- till Date- National Sec AIMC March, 2018- till Date- Delegate AICC
